What the 2027 colors are telling us 🎨

Hello!

There are some homes you walk into and immediately feel taken care of. My aunt and uncle's home in Chicago is one of them.

I stopped by to see them on my way back from Madison last week, and as always, she acted like it was no big deal while going completely above and beyond. Mahi, a beautiful plate of roasted vegetables, and a gluten-free apple cake made just for me. Yes, I felt spoiled.

I've been thinking about why that feeling is so strong at her place. Yes, it's the food (oh, it's the food!). But it's also that everything in her home seems to say come in, sit down, stay a while. You know you're going to sleep well there. You leave feeling refreshed and loved on.

That's really what I want for all of us. A home that nourishes you back.

And funny enough, that's exactly the feeling so many of the 2027 colors of the year are reaching for. This week on Feng Shui Living, I'm walking through the new colors from Sherwin-Williams, Behr, Valspar, Dutch Boy and more, and sharing where each one works best from a Feng Shui perspective. There's a lot of green this year...and a few that might surprise you.

This week, try this: Notice which color you keep reaching for. It might be a sweater, a mug, or a pillow on the sofa. That's a little clue about what you're craving more of at home.

Thank you so much for being here. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Warmly, Lisa Morton

Hello! It’s been a few weeks since the Aligned Sanctuary retreat, and I’m still feeling it. In fact, as I’m prepping this newsletter, I’m in Madison, Wisconsin, attending a retreat hosted by Jen Heller, who was one of the special guest speakers at Aligned Sanctuary. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak to her group about Feng Shui and the energy of your home. Wow, what a great group of women. I have one more day of connection and great conversation to go, and I can’t wait. It has me...

Hello! On the last afternoon of the Aligned Sanctuary retreat, I planned our closing ceremony for 3pm. I wanted everyone to have plenty of time to catch flights or get on the road well before dark. So we closed the circle, I opened up a little extra free time... and fully expected the women to start packing up. The next time I looked at my watch it was 5:15. Every single one of them was still here. At some point my husband went out and fired up the lawnmower, which I'm fairly certain was his...
