The Forgotten Spaces That Shape Your Home’s Energy

Hello!

You’ve probably heard the expression, “You’re only as strong as your weakest link.” It can sound a little harsh, but I invite you to sit with the idea without judgement for just a moment. In life, and in our homes, putting all of our energy into one area while neglecting the others can create imbalance before we even realize it’s happening.

You might give everything to your business, for example, but if your relationships or well-being are neglected, the success might not feel as fulfilling as you imagined. And the same applies at home. You can lovingly tend to your kitchen or bedroom, but if the hallways, corners, and in-between spaces are ignored, the energy can’t flow or support you fully.

This week’s episode of Feng Shui Living explores those often-forgotten spaces- the connectors and transitions that shape how your entire home feels. Small shifts can make a big difference, and you don’t need to focus on everything at once (we're not meant to!). Awareness alone creates momentum- in your home, and your life.

I hope you enjoy the episode. Thank you so much for being here with me.

Warmly, Lisa Morton

So often in Feng Shui we focus on those major rooms such as kitchens, dining rooms and bedrooms. Today we're diving into those in-between spaces like hallways and corners. In this episode you'll learn about the importance of these locations as well as how to bring it all together.

Hello, Friend I hope you enjoyed the holiday season and are settling gently into 2026. One of the most important foundational practices for a new year is making sure you’re getting truly restorative sleep. Sleep is the baseline we operate from... when it’s compromised, everything else in our lives tends to feel harder, more reactive, and more strained. So many people struggle with sleep not because they’re doing something “wrong,” but because their nervous system is stuck in fight-or-flight...

Hi Friends Wishing a very Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. If the season feels full, noisy, or you’re craving a little quiet space, this episode offers a gentle invitation to pause and reflect. As we stand on the threshold of a brand new year, this is Part One of a two-part series where we gently wrap up 2025. We reflect on the year behind us, the evolution of the podcast, and explore how numerology, the Chinese zodiac, and Western astrology shaped the collective energy we all moved...

Greetings! My goodness, it has been cold where I live in Indiana. I was grateful for the chance to slip away to Florida for a few days- soaking up sunshine and the vibrant colors of blooming flowers. It felt funny to see magenta and fuchsia petals flourishing beneath winter greenery, and big red bows, draped over neighborhood entrances. And yet, as tempting as it is to entirely escape the cold and gray of the northern hemisphere, there is a quiet medicine in this season. Winter carries its...
