Clutter Hotspots: Tips to Manage Overwhelm

Happy Wednesday!

As I sit here writing, I can see out my back windows. The tops of the trees are swaying ever so slightly in the breeze, their leaves still a vibrant shade of summer green. Beyond them, the sky is that perfect shade of blue and dotted with puffy, white clouds. I know the season will be shifting soon, so I'm soaking in these bright colors while I can.

Just pausing to notice what’s outside my window brought me a sense of calm. It’s such a good reminder that small things really can shift our mood.

In today’s episode of Feng Shui Living, I’m talking about clutter hotspots in the home. Clearing those areas is another simple way to make space for more creativity, clarity, and flow.

Whether it’s connecting with nature or tending to a messy corner, we don’t need to set aside a whole day to feel more grounded. Little steps add up. Wishing you a wonderful rest of your week!

But it’s also one of the most magical. In Feng Shui, the kitchen is deeply connected to abundance and transformation. It’s where we process, create, and nourish. Not just ourselves,...

Happy Day! I don’t know about you, but back-to-school season always came with a swirl of emotions for me. Excitement, but also a good dose of anxiety. I struggled big time with math. (Anyone else remember standing at the blackboard, chalk in hand, staring at the problem while your brain just froze? Yep… cue the tears.) Hello, My Friend! I hope this note finds you well and grounded. As we move through the rhythm of our days, our homes hold us, shape us, and quietly reflect the state of our lives. In Feng Shui, every home is a reflection of the life within it. We use something called the ba gua map, a guide that shows how different areas of your space connect to different areas of your life. At the very center of that map lies the Health Gua: the true heart of the home. Just as our physical health impacts...
