Snuggle Season: Feng Shui Tips for Deep Sleep

Greetings!

I have to admit, I’ve personally been struggling with sleep lately. But this time, it’s not from stress… it’s from excitement! I finally got to hold the very first copy of my new book, Aligned at Home, and honestly, I could hardly sleep after that. There’s something about seeing a dream become real that just lights up every cell in your body.

Whether you’re in a season of excitement, transition, or even challenge, those emotions can all influence your sleep more than you might realize.

And as we move into this time of year, when the days grow shorter and the energy around us calls us to slow down, our homes become even more important in supporting true rest.

So in today’s episode, we’re talking about how to prepare your bedroom to invite deeper, more restorative rest for your body, mind, and spirit. I’ll be sharing a few simple Feng Shui shifts you can make right away to help your space (and your energy) feel ready for real, nourishing sleep.

Thank you so much for being here. Have a wonderful rest of your week!

xoxo, Lisa Morton

Snuggle Season: Feng Shui Tips for Deep Sleep

Season 3 Episode 9

When was the last time you had a restful night sleep? Been awhile? This episode is for you.

Not only is it important for our bedrooms to be laid out following Feng Shui, but it also is important that we connect energetically with the upcoming cold weather season.

Himalayan Salt Light Bulbs

If you’re trying to wind down in the evenings, these are a simple, beautiful swap for your regular bulbs. They give off a soft, amber glow that helps your body recognize it’s time to rest... not stay alert. They’re intentionally not bright, so think of them as your evening unwind light rather than your task light.

Himalayan Salt Lamp

This is one of my favorite ways to create calm, grounding energy in the bedroom. The warm pink tone adds a soothing ambience that gently supports your natural sleep rhythm while making your space feel cozy and intentional.

Hello! I went to a new coffee shop earlier this week- adorable décor, friendly baristas… and very loud acoustics. It was a great reminder that even when a space looks inviting, the energy can feel unsettled. I found myself quietly using the same grounding practices I rely on when I travel; simple tools that help me stay calm and centered, no matter what’s happening around me. If you often find yourself in public spaces, like restaurants, hotels, airports, this week’s episode is for you. I’m...

Greetings! When is the last time you used your front door? Our front doors are where new opportunities and fresh energy find their way in. The front door isn’t just a physical entry, it’s the energetic threshold between your inner world and everything life is inviting in. How we care for this space can shape the opportunities, connections, and experiences that flow toward us. This week on Feng Shui Living, we’re exploring Front Door Rewind; an episode all about the importance of your home’s...
