Can I really Feng Shui a home I’ve never seen in person???

Hello!

Big news first: the Aligned Sanctuary retreat is officially sold out. We filled all eight spots in just three weeks, and I’m still a little stunned by how quickly it happened. If you applied and haven’t heard back yet, don’t count yourself out...life happens, plans shift, and I’ll be working through a waitlist if any spots open. You can still apply on the website under the retreat tab. And if you’re on that list when September rolls around, you’ll get first access to the next one (spring 2027, maybe... we’ll see!).

Okay, now for this week’s episode.

I get one question more than almost any other: “Lisa, how can you help me if you’ve never been inside my home?” It’s such a reasonable thing to wonder, so this week I finally pulled back the curtain and explained exactly how my virtual and remote work actually works.

I tell the story of a client in Savannah who I’d never met in person. Just from a floor plan, some photos, and about 25 minutes on Zoom, I picked up on a pattern in her home that pointed straight to her finances, before she’d said a single word about money. She was floored.

Then I go even deeper into something I don’t talk about often: distance space clearings. What it is, why I believe these clearings can be even more powerful than an in-person clearing, and a story involving a gong that still gives me chills every time I tell it.

This week, try this: the next time you walk back into your home after being away, even just for a couple hours, pause and notice what you feel before you start doing anything. That first-impression feeling is information.

Thank you for being here with me!

Warmly, Lisa Morton

PS: Community Spotlight

Two clients Erin (Indiana) and Dianna (New Jersey) have just moved into new homes and are getting settled in. Congrats!

Also, please send caring thoughts to a friend and client Laura who is headed into surgery today. May her home be a peaceful sanctuary for her recovery!

Hello! Can we be honest with each other for a second? Between the busier schedules, the travel, and all the fun summer events, my own house has felt a little more ‘lived in’ than usual lately. Shoes by the door, mail on the counter... you know the drill. Summer just has a different energy, doesn't it? That's exactly what inspired this week's episode. Summer connects to the fire element in Feng Shui: high energy, constant motion, in and out the door. It makes total sense that our homes start...

Hello! I'm still riding high from last weekend. My hometown library invited me back to speak about the book. Two of my elementary school teachers were there, some family, and my very first friend ever, Wendy, surprised me in the crowd. We grew up riding bikes back and forth between each other's houses, and I hadn't seen her in years. I left with the kind of warm feeling that stays with you for days. This week's episode is a little different, I reached back into the mailbag and answered three...

Greetings! Confession: I have a stack of storage bins sitting in my bathroom right now that don't fit on the shelf I bought them for. I saw them at the store, thought "these are cute and I clearly need bins," and bought them without ever actually measuring the space. Classic. So when I sat down to record this week's episode with Julianna Strickland of Space Camp Home Organizing, and she said the number one mistake people make is buying organizational products before they've measured, sorted,...
